2008 List of Budget Ambassadors by School

Dear Parent or Guardian,
The role of Budget Ambassador was originally created to provide open lines of communication with our parent community as we move through the budget process. Each year we invite individuals to participate who are concerned about preserving our fine educational program.
Budget Ambassadors are kept up-to-date on our proposed budget and any issues that arise. As part of this effort, we will be providing Ambassadors with a list of questions and answers likely to arise when discussing district and budget issues with other parents, friends and neighbors. Ambassadors are able to serve as an informed spokespeople for the district and promote the positive aspects of our system while addressing any questions that residents may have.
We hope you will consider serving as an Ambassador this year. We have scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, April 8th at 9 AM in the James A. Dever School cafeteria. The timing of any future meetings will be determined by the availability of the Ambassadors. At the first meeting we will present the proposed 2008-2009 budget and answer any questions that you may have regarding the budget, finances, tax bills or the programs which they support.
We hope that you will be able to serve our district in this capacity and look forward to working together on behalf of our students.
Please call or e-mail Denise Michels at 568-6100 or dmichels@valleystream13.com by Friday, February 8th to let us know if you will be able to participate. If you would like to be a Budget Ambassador but cannot make the meeting, please let us know and we will schedule a time that is convenient for you to meet with us.
