“Geometric Abstraction”

6 th grade Willow Road students learned the technique of one point perspective as they set out to create these amazing pieces of work. One point perspective is a technique in which objects on a 2-dimensional surface are made to appear as if they were 3-dimensional. After making some geometric shapes 3-d, students created an abstract background. These drawing were done only in pencil, and students utilized their knowledge of shading for the geometric shapes.
