James A. Dever Kindergarteners used lines to create patterns, shapes and other designs to create these wacky people.
The various types of line are straight, wavy, zig-zag, long, short, dotted, dashed, thick and thin.

Kindergarten students at Howell Road were inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian.  They used vertical and horizontal stripes to create geometric shapes.  To add color to their work, the students used crayons in the primary colors: red, yellow, and blue.

Willow Road Kindergarten students were “Jr. Builders” as these built these fantastic houses made out of Popsicle sticks.  Students used their knowledge of shape to “build” their houses; square for the base and triangle for the roof.  Students completed their scenes using Popsicle sticks and other wood pieces to create fences, suns, flowers, trees, and even cars!
