 I chose this Walt Disney because I would like to learn about a person who I experienced his creation of Disney world

 

Why are they important to you and others? Fact an opinion

 

Walt is important to me and others because if Walt Disney wasn’t born I and others wouldn’t be able to go to Disney world and have fun

 

Childhood

    Walt Disney was born in Chicago Illinois on December 5th 1901 by mother flora Disney who was a germen American decent and father Elias Disney who was an Irish Canadian decent. He 3 brothers and 1 sister

    His Family moved to marline Missouri. When Walt was young he had many interests that impacted his childhood such as art that he made and when he was done he sold them to neighbors. One of his neighbors paid Walt to paint pictures at the Sherwood

      Walt  in Missouri for 4 years when he was done living in Missouri he moved to Kansas in 1910 when he lived in Kansas he and his sister Ruth went to the Benton Grammar school when he went to that school he met a family named the Pfeiffer’s who worked in motion pictures which led him into his motion life

     Disney began his freshman year at McKinley high school but at age 16 he dropped out to try out for the army but he was rejected because he was underage so instead his friend and him joined e Red Cross and when he joined the Red Cross he was sent to France to drive an ambulance

                             Adulthood

Walt had many pros and cons to his adulthood such as when he came back to the United States from France he began to peruse in commercial art. With his business in commercial art he started a small company called LAUGH-O-GRAMS which failed and was unsuccessful. But one of his pros was in 1932 named FLOWERS AND TREES won the first of Waltz studio academy awards. Following with 64 more academy awards.

    Another pro was snow white and the seven dwarfs was played at the Carthay Theater which was the biggest hit because it made 1,499,000 dollars .Walt was married to one of his employees Lillian bounds Disney who lived from 1925 to 1966 .which they had 2 girls Diane 1933 – and Sharon who lived from 1936-1933 last but not least Disney dreamed of a very clean and organized theme park which came true in 1955 by the help of his brother which made Walt a billionaire and in 1966 Walt died of lung cancer at age 65 .which was a few years before the park opened .

   Walt Disney impacted the world because his life ambition was to make life more enjoyable and fun he entertained people through his theme parks (United States of America France Japan and china.) movies and cartoons.

 

How did learning about this person make you feel?

Learning about Walt Disney made me feel more knowledgeable and it takes a lot of work to become a billionaire and running businesses might not always go as you planned.

Yes I would recommend learning about Disney because I think he is a very interesting person to learn about and he person who can influence you not everything will come to you easy for instance his company laugh o grams was not successful.
