I chose Walt Disney because; he created the world Disney . One of the most famous places in the world Walt Disney.

 

 

Why are they important to you and others?

 

Walt Disney is important to me because, he created a place where more people in the world can have fun. And really made the world a better

place to live.

 

 

 

Walt Disney was born in Chicago Illinois, December 5th, 1901. He was one of five children 4 boys and a girl. After a while his family moved to

Marceline, Missouri. When he was seven he sold sketches of his work to companies. Walt also went to many different schools of art and photography. Walt discovered his first movie l and eventually started photographing wild life. But as you know Walt’s

family didn’t stay in one place. So Walt and moved to Kansas City, Kansas. But Walt continued to spread his

talent. He entertained his friend by imitating his silent screen hero,

Charlie Chaplin. With teacher permission he told the chalkboard as well. He would also sneak out of his house and perform skits as well. During 1918 Walt attempted ejected because he was under age. Walt joined Red Cross and was sent to France driving ambulances and chauffeuring Red Cross officials. His ambulance was not covered head to toe with camouflage on no! It was covered with DISNEY CHARACTERS!!!

 

 

ADULTHOOD Facts

 

 

     Once back from France he wanted to peruse a career in commercial art. So now Walt was slowly getting off the ground with short animated films for small local businesses in Kansas City. But Walt ran out of money and went bankrupt but believed. And headed for Hollywood and started his own small business. But with all the work and tasks Walt had to do. On July 13 1925 Walt married employee Lillian Bounds. They would go on to have 2 kids Diane and Sharon. After Walt and his family settled down as you know he would go on to create world famous character Mickey Mouse and more shows such as Plane Crazy, Flowers and Trees and the OLD Mill. And of course go on to create Disney World.

 

 

 

 

Contributions to the World

 One huge contribution Walt made was the creation of Disney World. This impacted him and all the people’s lives around him. And now there are 2 Disney parks. That was made by people that are trying to build on his legacy. All over the U.S. Disney impacted people greatly.

First Learning about Walt Disney helps me now have more information about Walt Disney and the creator of many wonderful things. This helps me to inform other researchers about my findings.

I would recommend this person other people to younger people who love Disneyland and Disney Cartoons.
