Patty Penguin and Friends

We are a first grade class. We read a book called Emperors Egg by Martin Jenkins. We decided that we really liked penguins. We began to research penguins on the internet. We started on www.enchanted learning .com We went on two other websites. One of the websites was www.ask .com and the other was www. Google.com On ask.com we got a list of penguins. On Google we found the same thing. We worked on our favoritepenguin. When we had to ask a question we went to ask.com. After our research we found out that not all penguins come from cold places some come from warm. The penguins that come from Antarctica are The Emperor, King, Gentoo, Adelie, Chinsrap, and Macaroni.

A lot of penguins come from New Zealand. The climate there is mild temperatures high rainfall and many hours of sunshine.
